We are proud to announce the official inauguration of our first micro-hydropower turbine on a navigable waterway in Belgium, a project brought to life at the picturesque watermill in Papignies. The ceremony was graced by none other than Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium.

To commemorate this symbolic milestone, the mill’s owners and Turbulent’s team welcomed an esteemed gathering of guests, including Ambassadors from countries where Turbulent operates, key governmental figures, stakeholders, and local neighbors from the watermill community.

Following a guided tour and the ceremonial activation of our vortex turbine, HRH Princess Astrid engaged in thoughtful dialogue with the Ambassadors, discussing the climate challenges confronting their nations. The conversations served as a powerful reminder of the shared urgency, and global responsibility that defines our mission.

We leave this day more energized than ever, fueled by the inspiring exchange of ideas and deeply honored by the encouragement of HRH Princess Astrid.
